Our Story
The Carter Insurance Group
The Carter Insurance Group was established on June 1, 2016. The Owner, Debra Carter, purchased Countybanc Insurance of Lexington where she previously worked for 10 years.

Brenda Snyder joined Debra in the opening of The Carter Insurance Group. They have worked together in the insurance business since 1989. They bring a wealth of insurance knowledge and experience to the agency. Debra and Brenda specialize in personal lines as well as commercial lines business.

Mary Ann Edrington joined the agency in November of 2016. She is the Public Relations Manager and is responsible for marketing the agency.

Bret Carter joined the agency in March of 2017 and is responsible for most of the Commercial business as well as the life and health business for the agency.
